The scandal with mass design of false disability certificates among prosecutors in the Khmelnytsky region is gaining momentum. According to official data, from October 2024 16 prosecutors were dismissed, who had doubtful medical reports. However, another 47 prosecutors continue to work with disabilities, reported in response to the request of journalists "Investigation.Info".
These figures were confirmed by the Khmelnytsky Regional Prosecutor's Office:
“Currently, 47 prosecutors with disabilities are operating in the prosecutor's office of Khmelnytsky region. In the period from October 1, 2024 to present, 16 prosecutors with disabilities were released. "
Recall that in the fall of 2023, journalists and law enforcement officers exposed the mass scheme of forgery of disabilities used by civil servants, including security forces. According to the investigation, the key role in the scheme was played by the then head of the MSEC Khmelnytsky region Tatiana Krup and her son Alexander Krup.
These certificates were allowed to avoid mobilization, maintain a position or receive benefits. In some cases, it was about the disability of the third group with the wording that "does not interfere with the performance of official duties."
