On the evening of May 10, Kharkiv shook another deadly accident. At the intersection of Kharkiv Heroes Avenue and Energetykiv Street, the Skoda Octavia driver left for a forbidden traffic signal, where he collided with KAMAZ truck. Three people were killed as a result of a powerful blow.
According to preliminary data, Skoda ignored the red light at high speed and literally crashed into the KAMAZ-4310 cargo, which was legally moving. The blow was so strong that the driver of the car and two passengers died instantly - doctors only stated death. The dead were 50, 43 and approximately 45 years.
Kharkiv police initiated a criminal case under Article 286 (3) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - a violation of traffic rules, which caused the death of several persons. The investigation is currently underway. Law enforcement officers find out all the circumstances of the tragedy, including the technical condition of the cars, the speed of traffic and the possible use of alcohol before the trip.
The scene was fenced, investigators, experts and rescuers worked at the intersection. The collision again confirmed that inattention on the road can cost life at once.
