In Poltava region a man was sentenced to evasion of mobilization for fear of serving

In the Poltava region, a local resident was sentenced to evading mobilization. This is stated in the materials of the Unified Register of Judgments.

According to the investigation, in December 2024 the man was presented with a combat summons. He was to appear for further departure to the military unit, but did not do so, which violated the requirements of the legislation on mobilization.

During the trial, the accused fully pleaded guilty and explained the absence of fear before the military service.

The Globinsky District Court found him guilty of evasion of conscription during mobilization. The court sentenced the man in the form of one year of the trial.
