In the village of Dobryanka in Vinnytsia region, two elderly women who were evacuated from Russian shelling, locals refused the settlement. The reason is the animals that grandmothers were rescued from the war zone: 11 dogs and 34 cats.
Volunteer and public figure Lala Tarapakin reported this situation on July 25. According to her, the evacuation took place from the frontline Belitsky with the participation of police from the White Angel and volunteers. All animals were sterilized and vaccinated, and the house was provided with the consent of the owners.
“We organized transportation - all this family and a few bags with a junk transported Kramatorsk volunteer Nicholas. The road lasted for about a day, everyone was exhausted ... But they got it, ”the volunteer said.
However, an unpleasant surprise was waiting at the site of women: the peasants went out to the house, blocked settlements and even forbidden to eat dogs. The main claim is in the village "No 11 dogs". None of the conditions of humane treatment of animals affected the position of the community.
After that, the volunteers were forced to look for a new place for displaced persons and their animals.
This case has caused a lively discussion on social networks: on the one hand, understanding of the fear and discomfort of the local, on the other - indignation of the lack of humanity and sympathy for women who saved not only themselves but also animals.
