A 29-year-old woman died in the village of Khmelnytsky district of Vinnytsia region. According to the police, the incident happened on May 14 during a joint drinking of alcohol with a 44-year-old acquaintance.
There was a conflict between the feast participants, which has grown into violence. The man hit the woman with a metal stick on the trunk during the quarrel. She fainted from the injuries and died in an ambulance.
The police quickly detained the attacker. He has already been informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is a deliberate grievous bodily harm that caused the victim's death.
The man threatens up to 10 years in prison. The investigation is ongoing.
