In Transcarpathia, partially restricted car travel at the border with Romania

The State Border Service of Ukraine reported temporary changes in the work of the Sygetvin-Marmaci-Marmaci checkpoint on the border with Romania. The changes relate to the design of vehicles and related to repair work on the bridge across the Tisa River.

According to the Romanian side, starting from July 7 to September 3, on weekdays (from Monday to Friday), from 9:00 to 15:00, the design of cars will be suspended periodically. The reason is the reconstruction of the bridge, which will last approximately 62 days.

In this case, the restrictions do not apply to pedestrians - pedestrian connections will work as usual.

Border guards urge drivers to plan trips in advance and take into account changes in the organization of traffic. Alternative routes through other checkpoints in Transcarpathia remain open.
