On March 15, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office opened criminal proceedings based on the results of a journalistic investigation by Bihus.info concerning the former head of the Kyiv Metro utility company, Viktor Braginsky. This was reported by the Public Control Council of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau.
Details of the NABU investigation are not disclosed to ensure the normal course of the pre-trial investigation.

After the publication of a journalistic investigation into undeclared assets and suspicious metro tenders, Braginsky resigned on March 15. The dismissal was formalized the next day by agreement of the parties. Since March 17, the duties of the head of the Kyiv Metro Enterprise have been performed by Viktor Vyhivskyi, the company's chief engineer.
Braginsky headed the Kyiv Metro for almost ten years, since July 2014. He was personally appointed to the position by Vitaliy Klitschko. In addition, he was a deputy of the Kyiv City Council from Vitaliy Klitschko's UDAR party and a member of the standing committee on budget, socio-economic development and investment activities.
