The National Bank of Ukraine will limit money transfers from card to card

In connection with the need to counter the illegal gambling business, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) decided to introduce new restrictions on money transfers from card to card.

"We are considering the possibility of introducing a framework for outgoing P2P transfers from individual accounts in the amount of UAH 100,000 per month and limiting the number of such transfers to 30 during the month," Oliinyk said.

Incoming transactions will not be limited.

At the same time, banks will be able to "manually" increase limits if there are "grounds and confirmations".

According to Oliynyk, the innovations are planned to be implemented within a month.

Also, the NBU suggested the future creation of a register of cards that were used for illegal activities.
