The National Bank strengthened the hryvnia: the exchange rate for October 14

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) announced the strengthening of the official hryvnia exchange rate, which currently stands at UAH 41.1891 per US dollar. This strengthening by 2 kopecks marks the positive dynamics in the foreign exchange market.

The official dollar exchange rate is UAH 41.18/dollar. The NBU also set the official exchange rate of the euro to the hryvnia at the level of UAH 45.02/euro.

According to data on profile sites, as of 9:10 a.m.:

  • A dollar can be bought for UAH 41.50, and sold for UAH 41.10 at the bank. Euros can be bought for UAH 45.65 and sold for UAH 45.20 in banks.
  • In exchange offices, the dollar is traded at the rate of UAH 41.41-41.46, and the euro at UAH 45.45-45.60.
  • Interbank exchange rates are UAH 41.13-41.16/dollar, respectively. for the dollar and UAH 45.00-45.02/euro for the euro.

35 billion euros of special financial assistance to Ukraine due to the use of frozen Russian assets, which were agreed by the permanent representatives of the member states of the European Union, should be available to Ukraine already at the end of this year.
