The National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting has decided to expand the list of sites through which users can still access Baskino, Filmix and HD Rezka, which are constrained. This decision was made after discovering new websites that continued to access these prohibited platforms for Ukrainian users, despite pre -blocking.
The updated list includes:
- 33 websites that could be hit by Baskino;
- 13 Filmix websites;
- 40 HD REZKA websites.
The National Council shall inform the National Commission to regulate electronic communications about the need to restrict access to these web resources for electronic service providers.
This step is part of the state measures aimed at combating Russian information aggression. To date, 27 media platforms from Russia have been included in the list of prohibited resources, which helps to reduce access to Russian propaganda and protect the copyright of Ukrainian content creators.
In particular, blocking these sites helps to counteract copyright violations that have become massive on such media resources and reduces the impact of Russian propaganda in Ukraine.
