In the first seven months of 2024, the companies of the Naftogaz Group, in particular JSC "Ukrgazvydobuvannya" and PJSC "Ukrnafta", demonstrated a significant increase in the production of commercial gas. In total, 8.6 billion cubic meters of gas were produced, which is more than 7% more compared to the same period last year.
The press service of "Naftogaz" reported that the increase in the volume of production became possible thanks to the launch of new high-performance wells, the introduction of modern technologies, as well as effective work with already existing equipment. According to the data, the planned indicators were exceeded by 2%.
Oleksiy Chernyshov, the head of the Naftogaz Group, emphasized that despite the military challenges, work does not stop not only in the central and western regions of Ukraine, but also in the eastern regions. He noted that the companies continue to actively work on improving mining results.
Among the significant achievements in July of this year was the launch of a new high-throughput well "Ukrgazvydobuvannya", which provides an additional 274 thousand cubic meters of gas to the region. This step significantly increases the efficiency of the company's work and contributes to the further increase of production volumes.
