According to Ilya Yevlash, the head of the press service of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the offensive of Russian troops at the front cannot last forever. According to him, the enemy is now in a situation where there are no resources and forces for further advancement on the front line.
"Apparently, the adversary is not going to stop fighting even in this spring, as it continues to form units and prepare reserves. However, as Kyrylo Budanov said, the offensive cannot last forever," he noted during the telethon.
Yevlash explained that offensive actions require a significant amount of personnel, equipment, resources, and finances, which are currently insufficient for further advancement. According to him, the Armed Forces use their technical superiority, innovative approach and non-standard strategies in conducting hostilities.
At the same time, Yevlash emphasized that it is important not to underestimate the enemy, as the Russian army remains powerful.
"We can make fun of the enemy in a certain way, but we should not underestimate him. The Russian army remains one of the world's most powerful armies with a large number of drones, electronic warfare systems and a large arsenal of equipment stored in the east of Russia," the spokesman emphasized.
Regarding the situation at the front, it should be noted that after the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian military in the summer, more than a dozen settlements in the east and south of Ukraine were liberated. At the same time, the Russian occupiers again increased the intensity of attacks on the front, trying to break through Ukrainian defenses in various areas. The head of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense, Kyrylo Budanov, predicts that the next six months will be interesting at the front, as the end of the Russian offensive is expected.
