NAZK did not notice the illegal enrichment of deputies, despite million-dollar apartments and new cars

Despite the fact that according to the results of 2023, a number of people's deputies of Ukraine acquired significant assets - expensive apartments, cars and price increases at premium resorts, the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NACP) did not find any sign of illegal enrichment of middle elected officials. also, significant changes in the property status of such deputies as Yaroslav Koval, Olga Koval and Oleksandr Feldman were recorded.

During the entire existence of NAKC, only two deputies were found to have "signs of unjustified assets or illegal enrichment."

We are talking about Iryna Valeriivna Kormyshkina and the results of checking her declaration for 2022, as well as People's Deputy Mykola Viktorovych Babenko and the results of the study of his declaration for 2021.

That is, as of the end of 2024, among the deputies who in 2023 got rich with new apartments, cars, and other assets, the NAZK has not yet seen violators of the anti-corruption legislation.

And this is despite the fact that the mass media wrote a lot about questionable and valuable assets acquired by a number of people's elected officials during the war.

For example, people's deputy from the "Voice" party, Yaroslav Zheleznyak, settled in a new capital apartment worth over UAH 11 million, and his wife, people's deputy Olga Koval, started driving around in a new "Lexus".

Or another example: People's Deputy Oleksandr Feldman (Ukraine Restoration group) did not declare 500,000 hryvnias for accommodation in a hotel in the Maldives.

Also, it recently became known that People's Deputy from "Servant of the People" Roman Kaptelov did not indicate in his declaration the acquired Moscow real estate and the income of his wife, a citizen of the Russian Federation, from a state institution in Moscow.

In addition, in 2023, deputy "servant" Oleksandr Bakumov made a living with an elite BMW car and bonds worth 11 million hryvnias.

In general, according to EP data, a third of people's deputies got new cars and real estate during the war. And the representatives of "Servants of the People" and the "Trust" business group have become the most valuable assets.
