The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) exposed the former deputy of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council Volodymyr Khoishko in the inaccurate declaration of property in the amount of more than 35 million hryvnias. The politician hid companies, bank accounts, real estate and even his own children.
Khoryshko Jr., the son of the Hero of Ukraine and the founder of the agricultural giant "Agro-Soyuz" Volodymyr Khoryshko, forgot to indicate in his declaration a lot of important: the share in the editorial board "Witness of Events", "Smerek-Agro", "Agro-Profenenergo" and "Phoenix 771. He also "did not notice" two minor children, although by law he was obliged to specify them in the document.
The largest scandal is the silence of a gorgeous house in the Dnieper with an area of more than 1300 square meters, the cost of which is estimated from 35 to UAH 61 million, as well as about land. The deputy also did not mention the Declaration of Bank Accounts, which NAPC found in three banks.
On January 25, 2025, Volodymyr Khoishko was officially deprived of the deputy mandate. He was a member of the forbidden pro -Russian Party of PPZ. Before a full -scale invasion of Russia, a photo with a Russian tricolor and a statement about "brotherly peoples" was distributed on its pages on social networks.
This is not the only dark episode in a choir. On November 6, 2023, he became a defendant in a deadly road accident: he moved the person lying on the road and did not stop. The victim died. According to the criminal proceedings No. 123044000000001176, Khoryshko pleaded guilty and went to an agreement with the investigation. The family of the deceased agreed to compensation, and the Sinelnikov City District Court found the deputy guilty, but appointed 4 years of imprisonment with a trial for 1 year.
