In May 2025, several magnetic storms will be covered, which can affect the well -dependent people. According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Research Office (NOAA), both minor geomagnetic fluctuations and individual perturbations of red level are projected over the month.
When magnetic storms are expected
The intensity of cosmic activity is measured by KP-Index-a scale from 0 to 9. The influence begins to feel when the figure reaches the fifth level, then the geomagnetic storm can affect health and equipment.
It is forecast that several such days will take place in May:
-
May 2-low activity (KP-Index 4);
-
May 5-6-Red Level Storm (KP-Index 5);
-
May 7-10-slight fluctuations (KP-Index 4);
-
May 16-17-a slight storm (KP-Index 4);
-
May 18-Red Level Storm (KP-Index 5).
Although most of them will have moderate strength, days with index 5 can cause headaches, insomnia, fatigue, pressure fluctuations, irritability and other symptoms.
How to facilitate the impact of a storm on well -being
Doctors advise weather -dependent people to follow simple rules:
-
Full sleep (at least 7–9 hours)
-
Drinking a large amount of water
-
A balanced diet with vegetables and fruits
-
Restriction of coffee, alcohol, energy and heavy food
-
Reducing stress, avoiding overloads
-
Minimizing contact with gadgets
-
Outdoor walks
-
Control of blood pressure and taking medicines as intended
We remind that magnetic storms are not catastrophic, but can worsen people with chronic illness or hypersensitivity. Keep track of the forecasts and do not ignore the body's warning signals.
