Upon completion of hostilities, no more than half of the refugees can return to Ukraine. This opinion was expressed by the People's Deputy and Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy Nina Yuzhanin on news.
According to her, during the years of a full -scale war, Ukrainians who found shelter in the Western countries were able to adapt to new living conditions - to find a job, to provide themselves with housing, and some have finally settled in a new place.
“It seems to me that for them - I will not say for 70%, but for 50% - the decision is made. Because the safety situation is suspended all the time. She says that we will not have a good neighbor, ”Yuzhanin commented.
The politician believes that the main restraint factors for the return of refugees are the unpredictability of the security situation and the possibility of new aggression by Russia. Its concern is uncertainty in international support, in particular from the United States and countries of the European Union.
“Most of these people are the fact that they see how they are protected by that country and the responsibility of those states. This chaos, which is now in state institutions, completely deter people outside Ukraine, ”Yuzhanina stressed.
In addition, she mentioned Russia's recent missile attacks on residential quarters of Ukrainian cities, which are of great concern not only among citizens within the country, but also among those who are now beyond.
"Maybe somewhere in energy infrastructure is not fired, but you see how people suffer," the deputy added.
In general, the situation with the return of Ukrainian citizens from abroad remains complicated and depends not only on the end of the war, but also on the conditions that the country will offer its citizens after victory.
