Military expert and founder of the charity organization "Reaktivna poshta" Pavlo Narozhnyi stated on Radio NV about the serious threat of massive attacks by the Russian occupiers, who have accumulated a significant number of "Shahed" kamikaze drones. According to him, August and September became record months for the number of launched enemy drones, which indicates the preparation for intensifying attacks in the conditions of the approach of the heating season.
"They hit all the time. It is obvious that the Russians have been accumulating "shahedy" before the heating season, because infrastructure facilities have the highest priority for them," said Narozhny. The expert also believes that Russia is increasing the production of drones, although the figures officially announced by them may be exaggerated.
According to Narozhny, one should not expect the enemy to stop his attacks. "They hit absolutely in all directions, and we need to be ready to repel all attacks," he emphasized. The military expert called for preparation for new threats from Russian forces, as the enemy's activity will continue.
In September, Kyiv became the target of air attacks by the occupiers for the fourth time. On the night of September 30, the enemy used Shahed attack drones, which entered the city in waves from different directions. The air alert in the capital lasted for more than five hours, but the air defense forces were able to neutralize all the enemy drones that threatened Kyiv.
Tonight, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with various types of missiles and attack drones. In total, the radio engineering troops of the Air Force detected and escorted 76 means of air attack of the enemy. As a result of the anti-aircraft battle, one Kh-59/69 guided air missile and 67 Shahed-type attack UAVs were shot down in various regions, including Kyiv, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Poltava, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Mykolaiv.
