The German expert questioned the version about the detonation of "Nordic Streams" by Ukrainians from the yacht "Andromeda"

A German specialist in underwater works, whose opinion was published in the Bild , was skeptical that the sabotage of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream-2 gas pipelines was carried out by Ukrainian saboteurs who used the Andromeda yacht for this operation. In short, this approach looks unlikely from its technical point of view and requires significant resources and specific equipment.

Underwater archaeologist Sven Thomas said that such an operation requires not one yacht, but several additional vessels. As well as a stationary platform with cranes, an anchor system and ballast, the weight of which should be at least one ton.

In addition, to carry out such work, the Andromeda would need to be fixed exactly above the dive site, which would require three to four heavy anchors with ropes up to 500 meters long, otherwise it would simply be blown out to sea by waves and wind.

An engine with a capacity of 75 horsepower would not be able to keep the yacht in the right position by maneuvering, and also would not allow taking on board the required amount of explosives of about 400 kilograms.
