The creation of the “Transparent Network” payment system was initiated by the Independent Association of Banks of Ukraine, which also received support from the banking community, business, and international partners. The Association (NABU) reports on this project and its benefits.
“This is our test project, aimed at becoming not only an association that provides assistance, but also a platform for launching new innovative projects on the market,” noted Volodymyr Mudryi, Chairman of the NABU Council.
Participants expect that within the next two years, Prozora Merezha will process at least 30% of all retail payments and 80% of money transfers within Ukraine.
The main advantages of the new system include:
- Calculation speed in a few seconds.
- Free P2P transfers.
- Lower commission rates for sellers compared to other payment systems.
- The system is built on the basis of the NBU Electronic Payment System (EPS) and ensures the absence of intermediaries between banks and compliance with legislation.
How to use the system:
To use the system, customers need:
- Show or scan the QR code in your bank's mobile app when paying in the store.
- Select the “Transparent Network” option on the website during online payment and confirm the payment.
- For P2P transfer, find a contact in your phone book or send a QR code or link via any messenger.
