Ukraine is celebrating the opening of another plant of the German company Quantum-Systems GmbH, which specializes in the production of unmanned aerial vehicles. According to expectations, the plant will be able to produce 1,000 drones per year, as well as manufacture spare parts.
This new plant is the second enterprise of Quantum-Systems GmbH in Ukraine, and by the end of the year it is planned to employ about 100 people.
Quantum Systems plans to invest up to six million euros over the next two years. This shows the company's trust in Ukraine and its employees, as well as support in the country's defense industry.
It is noted that Quantum Systems currently manufactures dual-use products for the civil and public sectors, and already employs about 250 employees.
The plant in Ukraine is the fourth of the company's seven enterprises around the world. Such steps indicate a significant expansion of Quantum-Systems GmbH's activities and its constant interest in cooperation with Ukraine.
It is also worth mentioning that mass production of drones has begun in Ukraine, including both unmanned aerial vehicles and surface drones. In addition, kamikaze drones similar to the Russian Lancets were developed and successfully tested. The government has expressed its intention to transfer the production of electronic harrows to commercial rails, which will open up new opportunities for entrepreneurs.
