The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine canceled the rule that prohibited the introduction of animals into protective structures of civil protection. According to a statement from UAnimals, the animal protection organization, this means that dogs and cats are now allowed to be brought into the shelter.
In December of last year, after the scandal in Kyiv, when two children and their dog were not allowed into the shelter during the explosions, UAnimals lawyers appealed to the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs with a proposal to update the regulations governing this situation.

UAnimals emphasizes that the restriction of access with an animal to the shelter is now excluded.
