Borisov, an Odesa ex-military officer, is trying to register his disability while in a pre-trial detention center

The scandalous former military commissar of the Odesa region, Yevhen Borisov, who is currently in a pre-trial detention center on suspicion of illegal enrichment, is trying to get himself a disability.

During the last 9 months, Borisov's lawyers have been trying to arrange for him to be referred to the MSEK. The defense insists that he has many diseases and needs constant supervision by doctors. And further detention "causes the suspect unbearable pain and suffering."

Earlier, the ex-military officer had already stated in court that he could die in prison due to problems with blood clots.

At the same time, according to the publication, Borisov is now dismissed from the Armed Forces due to his health and removed from the military register. The resource notes that in the case of registration of disability and release from the pretrial detention center under a personal bond, Borisov will have the right to travel abroad.
