The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine disclosed the number of criminal proceedings against evaders

In the conditions of Russian aggression against Ukraine, the authorities are actively responding to attempts to avoid military service and violations of the rules of military registration. According to the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, almost 11,300 criminal proceedings have already been opened regarding evasion of military service and violation of military registration rules.

Thus, in 2023, 6,745 criminal proceedings were initiated. The leaders of this "rating" were Zakarpattia (660), Mykolaiv (637) and Dnipropetrovsk (635) regions.
