Russian troops continue to increase pressure on the Eastern Front. According to the Deepstate Osint Project, the invaders have achieved new tactical successes in Donetsk region and are rapidly approaching the administrative border with Dnipropetrovsk. From one of the hostile bridgeheads - Kotlyarivka village - only about five kilometers remain to the border of the region.
This information was published by Deepstate analysts on the night of April 12.
Three directions of threat
According to analysts, the army of the Russian Federation advanced in three directions:
-
Viburnum,
-
Novo Alexandrovka,
-
Kotlar.
These settlements are located within the Donetsk region, but the geography of hostilities is rapidly shifting to the West. The situation near Kotlyarivka is particularly alarming, from where to the administrative border with the Dnipropetrovsk region there are only 5 km.
Gradual escalation
On the eve of April 11, Deepstate recorded the occupation of the village of Alexandropil in the Pokrovsky district of Donetsk region. The promotion of Russians in the areas of Novobakhmutivka and Uspenivka was also reported.
This testifies to the gradual but persistent attempt of the enemy to break deeper into the defensive boundaries of the Armed Forces.
Which means “5 km to the border”
Reducing the distance to the administrative boundaries of Dnipropetrovsk is not just a symbolic limit. This poses a direct threat to the regional communities of the region, and can also have a psychological effect on civilians and defense forces.
Given the situation, it is critically important to strengthen the defense line, the transfer of reserves and prompt response to threats that quickly change geography.
