Oleksandr Usyk after his career dreams of developing Ukrainian boxing

Absolute World Height Champion WBC, WBO, WBA and IBO Alexander Usyk said he would not leave sports even after completing his career in professional boxing. In an interview with Mirror, the Ukrainian shared his plans for the future.

“Even when my career gets an end, I will still stay in boxing and train. I need to keep myself in good shape, ”Usik said. The athlete confessed that in 23 years he had completely devoted himself to boxing, without doing other sports.

Usyk also shared his approach to discipline and healthy lifestyle:

"I do not drink, do not smoke or go to clubs, so if it weren't for workout, then I would probably just crush things at home and would even annoy his wife even more."

For example, he cited the legendary Brazilian footballer Ronaldo, who quickly gained excess weight after his career.

"Ronaldo was a wonderful player - not Cristiano, but the old man from Brazil. He was very fast, technical, thin, but when he finished his career, he stopped training and lost his shape. I don't want to do it, ”Usik explained.

The Ukrainian champion noted that it dreamed of living for a long time and after boxing to develop Ukrainian boxing schools and teams, passing experience to new generations.
