Former Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexei Danilov, dismissed in March 2024, did not receive the President of Zelensky diplomatic and now lives for a modest income of 5 thousand hryvnias a month.
This is evidenced by the data of his electronic declaration for 2024, Ukrainian News reports.
According to the declaration, in the first three months of 2024 Danilov received 608 976 UAH of salaries in the NSDC. However, after his release, his financial situation has changed significantly.
At this time, he does not work in the state sector, and his only known source of income is a contract with LLC "Kyiv Regional Energy Supply Company".
He received 43 924 UAH under this company. If this amount is divided into 9 months (from April 2024 to January 2025), it turns out that the monthly income of Danilov is only about 5 thousand hryvnias.
After his resignation, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Danilov would be transferred to another direction, but did not specify which one.
On March 26, 2024, the People's Deputy from "European Solidarity" Alexei Goncharenko reported that Danilov could become an ambassador to Norway. However, on March 29, Goncharenko changed his data, saying that Danilov would be sent to Moldova.
There was currently no official confirmation of his appointment to the diplomatic service.
