Russian troops continue to try to advance on the front, using small groups and reconnaissance operations with the help of drones. This was reported by the commander of one of the units of the special operations center with the call sign “Jack” on the air of the “Kyiv24” TV channel.
According to him, the situation in the direction remains controlled, although the enemy periodically tries to increase its activity. Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine work ahead of schedule, constantly monitor the situation and adjust their actions in accordance with changes in the enemy's tactics.
“ The situation is under control, although the enemy periodically tries to become more active. We are trying to work ahead, constantly monitoring the situation. Thanks to our work and interaction with other units with which we work closely, the enemy is not able to advance ,” the commander noted.
He stressed that Russian forces mostly operate in small groups, conduct reconnaissance by combat and actively use drones to make adjustments and attempt breakthroughs. Ukrainian fighters adapt their own tactics to these threats and strike at moments when the enemy is most vulnerable.

The commander also noted that his unit is equipped for winter operations and is ready for changes on the front. According to him, relative stability is expected in the near future, although local attempts at Russian activation are quite possible.
