The updated format of the military ticket: the main changes approved by the Cabinet of Ministers

The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a new format of the military registration document, which will come into force on May 18, the same day as the law on mobilization. Now accepted before May 16 are considered valid until a new document is issued.

"According to the new order, a military registration document is a document that determines the eligibility of its owner to perform military duty, which is drawn up (created) and issued to a citizen of Ukraine who is a conscript, conscript or reservist, including if he was excluded from the military registration of conscripts, conscripts and reservists in accordance with Clauses 3 and 4 of Part 6 of Article 37 of the Law "On Military Conscription and Military Service" and did not receive such a document before this Cabinet Resolution of May 16 No. 559 came into force ", the document says.

A military registration document will be issued even to those who have previously been declared unfit for military service or who have reached the reserve age. For such citizens who are excluded from military registration, the military registration document is not withdrawn and information about exclusion from military registration is entered into it.

The military registration document in electronic form is created by means of:

  • the electronic account of a conscript, conscript, reservist, in particular using his mobile application;
  • the state web portal of electronic public services in the field of national security and defense;
  • portal Diya, in particular using the mobile application of the Portal Diya (Diya) (in the case of technical implementation)".

The government's notification states that this resolution will enter into force on the same day as the updated law on mobilization - from May 18. The Cabinet of Ministers adds that military registration documents drawn up in accordance with this resolution are considered valid "until the issuance of a new model document."

The new military registration documents issued in accordance with the new requirements will include data on the date of birth, surname, first name and patronymic, registration number of the taxpayer card, military rank, specialty of the military registration and the results of the military medical commission, as well as information about postponement of mobilization.

These documents will be generated electronically through various Internet resources, such as the draftee's electronic office, the web portal of state electronic services, or the Diya portal. The number and date of issue of the military registration document will be entered in the Unified State Register of conscripts, conscripts and reservists on the day of issue.
