After the resumption of the work of the Kyiv City Council, which had been in a state of political crisis for over three months, a number of suspicious land projects were immediately put on the agenda.
This was reported by the Informant with reference to the head of the Public Council under the Kyiv City State Administration, Hennadiy Kryvosheya.
According to him, instead of considering applications from ordinary citizens or entrepreneurs, the commission on architecture, urban planning and land relations has introduced initiatives that resemble the well-known "toilet" schemes. These are situations when land is allocated for fictitious or formally existing real estate, and the size of the plot does not correspond to reality.
In addition, other projects with clear signs of questionability were also on the agenda:
-
allocation of land for property, the ownership of which has already been canceled by the court;
-
projects related to persons on the sanctions list;
-
documents that were previously called "schematic".
"There are about 600 land project solutions. We are not against land issues, because this is additional money for the budget. But why are incomprehensible schemes again a priority, and ordinary people and entrepreneurs cannot get on the agenda?" Kryvosheya noted.
He also announced that during the land commission meeting on September 15, he would raise the issue of clearing the agenda of questionable projects.
