The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has made a decision that simplifies the procedure for paying pensions for three categories of citizens: internally displaced persons, people who are abroad, as well as residents of temporarily occupied territories. For the first time for these groups, uniform rules for obtaining pension payments were introduced.
By this time, the procedure for obtaining pensions for each category had separate nuances: some had to contact only the Savings Bank, others - to prove IDP status or regularly send requests. The new solution has unified the mechanism: now pensioners can receive payments to an account at any Ukrainian bank, regardless of the place of actual residence.
At the same time, a new obligation is introduced for pensioners who are in temporarily occupied territories or outside Ukraine: physical identification must be undergoing physical identification by December 31.
This procedure is intended to confirm that the recipient of the pension is a living person. There are three ways to do this:

Offline: Personal Appeal to the Pension Fund, Bank or Ukrainian Consulate.

Online: Authorization on the PFU website through electronic signature (for example, "Action. Signature").

Video: Individual Identification through Video with a PFC representative after pre -registration on the site.
If a person lives on the tot and cannot be identified, he or she must at least once every half a year perform a financial transaction from his account to confirm the activity.
In order to continue pension payments, pensioners living in the occupied territories or abroad must submit a written application to the Pension Fund stating that they do not receive any payments from the Russian Federation.
In case of non -compliance - payments are stopped. They can only be restored after the identification procedure. If the termination happened by March 20, 2025, you must apply for renewal and check.
For citizens who are abroad, it is allowed to send documents by mail. The statement must be attached to the fact that confirms the fact of life.
