The famous confectioner and judge of the show "MasterChef" Lisa Glinska, who recently became the mother of two daughters, frankly shared the story of a difficult pregnancy. In her Instagram, she talked about the diagnosis of preeclampsia, the pain and fears that accompanied her while carrying children.
According to Glinska, pregnancy became a real test. The first alarming symptoms appeared at 27-28 weeks. The star faced severe toxicosis, shortness of breath, swelling, high blood pressure, joint pain and serious kidney problems. Her condition required constant medical monitoring, drips and consultation of doctors.
"It was difficult for me to admit to myself that I was tired, that I was scared. I tried to be active until the end, believing that pregnancy is not a disease. But the hospital and the diagnosis made me stop," Lisa wrote.
Despite all the difficulties, Glinska did everything she could to keep her children alive. She calls every day during this period "worth its weight in gold".
The star also said that it was difficult for her to accept the fact that her pregnancy does not look as "perfect" as in social networks. She faced the pressure of social stereotypes about what the "ideal pregnant woman" should be like.
"If you don't fit into the framework, you get the feeling that something is wrong with you. But I was ready to go through everything just to give life to my girls," admitted the confectioner.
Lisa Glinska urged women who are experiencing difficulties during pregnancy not to beat themselves up, but to seek help. Her candid post sparked a wave of support among followers and colleagues.
