In a new interview, the first lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenskaya, shared her impression of a book that recently moved it deeply. It is about the novel "All Life Ahead" by the French writer Roman Gary.

The book " La Vie Devant Soi ) is a sensual and deep story of a ten -year -old boy named Momo, who lives in a shelter in the Paris Quarter of Immigrants. He is raised by Madame Rosa - a former prostitute and a Jew who survived the horrors of Auschwitz. The woman oversees the children of other sex workers whose mothers are unable to keep them on their own.
The main character, Momo, despite his age, is forced to grow up early. It helps Rosie, which is gradually weak, and learns to understand the complexity of the world around. It is a story about love, loss, loyalty, loneliness and struggle for human dignity in the most indispensable circumstances.
The novel was awarded the prestigious Honkur Prize in 1975. His author, Romain Gary, published a work under the pseudonym Emil Ansar, and only later confessed to authorship.
Elena Zelenskaya noted that she plans to continue getting acquainted with Gary's work. Her sincere emotions can be an incentive for many Ukrainian readers to pay attention to this moving story, which is not losing relevance today.
