The Ukrainian Volunteer Army (UDA) reported an attempt on the lives of two of its members, Albert and Natalia Kruchyniny. Details regarding the explosion of the Kruchynin family's car are still limited. Albert and Natalia are in the hospital, and the police are treating this case as an attempted murder.
The UDA called the car bombing a terrorist act, suspecting that it could be the result of the actions of Russian sabotage groups. Therefore, they announced a reward for any information about possible customers and executors of this act.
"We call on all possible witnesses of this crime, as well as persons who have any information about the customers and executors, to contact the UDA command. We guarantee anonymity and a reward in the amount of 10,000 US dollars for information that will help to detain or eliminate subversive groups," UDA representatives said.
Politician Serhiy Sternenko also expressed his willingness to participate in the collection of information about possible criminals, adding $10,000 to the reward.
Regarding details from the police, the law enforcement officers noted that the explosion occurred in the village of Gvardiyske. The victims are in the hospital with multiple injuries. Information about the attempted assassination attempt has already been entered into the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations, and the criminals who were behind it can expect 10 to 15 years in prison or even life imprisonment.
