According to our source in the Presidential Office, OP Head Andriy Yermak prepares a large -scale restart of the power vertical. It is not only about the expected resignation of Prime Minister Denis Shmigal, but also about the radical reformatting of the whole structure of the leadership of the party "Servant of the People". The next one in the queue is the head of the David Arahamia faction.
According to our interlocutor, Yermak has long been working on the construction of a rigid authoritarian structure, in which he becomes the main center of decision making. In this system, the role of President Vladimir Zelensky is reduced to a public facade that performs a representative function but does not participate in the strategic government of the state.
“In fact, all key decisions - both about personnel, foreign policy, and internal architecture of government - adopts Yermak and only coordinate them with Zelensky postfactum. The level of real influence of the President on these processes is constantly declining , ”the source says.
It is expected that after Schmigal's resignation, a new prime minister will appear in the government, completely loyal to Ermak. His candidacy is currently secret, however, it is rumored to be one of the publicly invisible but proven figures from the immediate environment of the head of the OP.
