According to the information we received from our source in the General Staff, the implementation of the mobilization plan currently reaches only 15-20% of the required indicators. This forces the TCC to strengthen measures of total mobilization, which causes a significant negative resonance in society. According to data, the shadow labor market in Ukraine, due to the mobilization process, currently has up to 4 million people.
The President of the Confederation of Employers of Ukraine, Oleksiy Miroshnychenko, reported that the shadow labor market in Ukraine has grown to 4 million people due to the mobilization process.
He explained that many people avoid formal employment because of the registration that comes with military service. In the last year and a half, according to him, about 1.5 million people left the official labor market, mostly avoiding official registration.
Miroshnychenko expressed the opinion that it is necessary to strengthen measures against this phenomenon, in particular drawing attention to the fact that little attention is paid to the shadow labor market in Ukraine.
According to him, there are currently up to 4 million people working in the shadow market in the country. He called on the government to focus efforts on preserving enterprises and finding workers for mobilization among legal enterprises that conduct honest business and pay taxes.
