In Ternopil, police are investigating a teenagers' attack on a schoolgirl. The beating video appeared in one of the Telegram channels and caused outrage on social networks.
According to the press service of the State Institution of NP in the Ternopil region, law enforcement officers found a video during social networking monitoring. It shows several teenagers attack the girl and causes her bodily harm.
The person of the victim as well as two attackers has already been identified. Police continue to find out the circumstances of the conflict and establish other participants in the event.
Upon the attack, criminal proceedings were opened under Part 2 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - hooliganism committed by a group of persons. Such a crime is punishable by imprisonment for up to four years.
Police stressed that such behavior of adolescents will have consequences for both the attackers themselves and their parents.
