The newspaper "Kyiv Independent" recorded the beginning of a tense situation in the city of Chasiv Yar, which is considered the gateway to the agglomeration of four cities in the east of Ukraine - from Kostyantynivka in the south to Sloviansk in the north, through Druzhkivka and Kramatorsk.
However, in view of the fact that Ukrainian servicemen are on the front line without rotation, as well as in view of the delay in the preparation of fortified defensive lines in Donetsk region, it remains unclear to what extent Kyiv's forces are able to organize a reliable defense, even under more favorable conditions.
After all, the units are overloaded and undermanned, and the infantry often fights for so long without rotation that its combat effectiveness begins to decline.
The saturation of the front with drones not only changed the nature of the injuries received, but also, more importantly, made the evacuation of the wounded from zero positions more difficult and dangerous. "90% of the wounded become the target of either FPV or ammunition dropped from drones," doctors say.
In conditions of limited manpower, losses in one area often jeopardize the defense of another.
The fighters say they want peace, "people are tired, they want to return to their families, to a normal life."
