More than 100 apartments in the prestigious residential complexes of Kiev - just as much real estate were recorded by journalists for businessman and former deputy of Kyiv City Council Denis Komarnitsky and his wife Irina in the period from 2016 to 2018. All these apartments were quickly resold - sometimes less than a week after the registration of ownership. The total amount of probable profit from such operations could exceed UAH 440 million.
Investigation "Investigation.Info" suggests that apartments could act as an unofficial fee for the influence of Komarnitsky in the field of land issues of Kyiv. Law enforcement officers have already opened criminal proceedings in the framework of the large -scale operation "Clean City", which aims to destroy corruption schemes around the allocation of land and the development of budget funds in the capital.
The largest number of apartments - 52 - were decorated on Komarnytsky in the LCD "Comfort Town". Another 48-in the Central Park business complex near Libidskaya metro, and 10 in the premium Tetris Hall. The owner of all three objects is the Kan Development developer, founded by Igor Nikonov, an exception of Klitschko in 2014–2015.
According to open extracts from the State Register, Komarnitsky owned these apartments for a short time - part was resold in just a few days. At the same time, according to journalists, resale in two main LCDs could bring more than 330 million UAH, another 110 million - at Tetris Hall.
The coincidence or pattern - the peak of such "operations" came for 2016–2018. After that, the couple did not appear in similar transactions. In a comment to journalists, Irina Komarnitskaya stated that she was talking about "business activity", but avoided explanations what she was.
Kan Development did not respond to journalists' requests. And Denis Komarnytsky himself, as well, left the territory of Ukraine since February 2025 after the investigation began. His name has repeatedly sounded in the context of scandals with the "toilet scheme" and "Komarnitsky".
Will 110 apartments proof in the case of the land mafia in Kiev is now the word for investigation. But at least in the public space there is increasing questions about the shadow real estate market in the capital and who has indeed managed the land of Kiev for the last ten years.
