During the next week, stable weather will remain in Ukraine, as the country will be covered by a field of high atmospheric pressure. According to forecasts of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, this anticyclone will bring clear and dry weather to most of the territory of Ukraine.
However, already on January 15 in the west, partly in the northern and central regions, light snow is expected due to the atmospheric front from the northwest. After that, the anticyclone will ensure dry weather throughout the territory.
The air temperature at night will drop to 3-8 degrees of frost, and in Transcarpathia and Prykarpattia to 13 degrees of frost. During the day, the temperature will vary from -3 to +2 degrees.
Particular attention is paid to the weather conditions on the roads, where ice is expected in the western and northern regions, as well as in the Vinnytsia and Cherkasy regions.
In the second half of the week, from January 16, rainy weather will prevail in Ukraine, and snow is possible in some regions, including the Kharkiv region. Maximum temperatures will not exceed 3 degrees Celsius, and in Crimea - up to 5 degrees Celsius. It will also rain in Kyiv, with temperature fluctuations from 0 to +2 degrees during the day and at night.
