Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation in cooperation with the SBU reported the suspicion of the chief of one of the departments of the law enforcement agency of the Kyiv region, who organized the illegal transfer of the conscript across the border for $ 15,000.

According to the investigation, the official acted with other accomplices. He guaranteed the resident of Kyiv a safe departure to Poland through the Volyn region. The scheme provided for the delivery of the client to the hotel near the border, and then by motorcycles through forests to the place of illegal crossing of the state border.
However, the escape ended failed: Polish law enforcement officers detained the offender and returned him to Ukraine. The operatives were able to quickly identify the organizer of the equipment.
Police officers are suspected of committing a criminal offense under Part 3 of Art. 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - the organization of illegal crossing of persons across the state border by prior conspiracy by a group of persons. The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for up to 9 years.
