In Kiev, police detained a 34-year-old man who brutally attacked a young girl in the entrance of an apartment building. The incident happened when the 21-year-old Kiev woman came out of the elevator.
The attacker, closing his face with a motorcycle helmet, went into the entrance of the high -rise building and waited for the sacrifice. As the girl appeared, he saw her tear gas into her face, after which he hit the metal object several times on her head. Then the attacker pulled her mobile phone and disappeared from the crime scene.
Law enforcement officers promptly identified the attacker's identity. He tried to hide his involvement in the attack - he changed his clothes and used masking. However, thanks to videos from surveillance cameras and investigators, police detained it.
The man was suspected of Part 4 of Art. 187 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - a robbery combined with a life -threatening violence committed in martial law. This is one of the most serious crimes for which up to 15 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property is provided.
Investigative actions are currently underway. The victim received medical care, her life is not threatened.
