At the Ukrainian-Polish border at the checkpoint "Yagodin-Dorogosk" it is possible to complicate the movement of freight transport through an announced protest action of Polish carriers. This was warned by the State Border Service of Ukraine with reference to the border guard of the Republic of Poland.
According to the Polish side, a protest action can begin today, May 12. Its participants plan to limit the passage of the truck to one car per hour in both directions - both at entry and departure from Poland. Such a rhythm of work can significantly paralyze one of the key cargo routes on the western border.
"Buses and humanitarian trucks will be passed freely," the SSSU reports.
Pre -blocking can take up to four months, but it will depend on the negotiation between protesters and Poland.
Currently, freight transport through Yagodin - Dorogosk is in full -time. Border guards urge drivers to carefully monitor the updates and take into account possible delays when planning a route.
This is not the first protest of Polish carriers in recent months. The reasons for their dissatisfaction are traditionally liberalization of the transport market for Ukrainian companies, which, according to Polish colleagues, create unequal conditions for competition.
