Former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in a new interview with the British edition of The Times sharply criticized the current head of state Vladimir Zelensky. In particular, he stated that Zelensky was trying to "eliminate any competitors" and "rule the iron hand."
Poroshenko especially emphasized the personal sanctions imposed against him. “Why does he do it? Because he hates me at a biological, chemical level. And, to be honest, I also do not like Zelensky, ”the expsite said. He added that even in spite of his personal hostility, he never acted against Zelensky during the war.
The expsite also accused Zelensky of violating the Constitution, as he allegedly did not allow him to participate in the parliamentary assembly. "This is absolutely no different from Russia," Poroshenko said.
In the same interview, he advised Zelensky to pay attention to the experience of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyag in building a dialogue with Donald Trump, hinting that Zelensky should be more flexible in communication with the American political establishment.
