The first deputy head of the state enterprise "Ukrainian State Institute for the Design of Objects of Road Economy" UkrDiprodor "Yuri Kharkovchenko became the person involved in the investigation of the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption (NAPC). His declaration found inconsistencies of UAH 6.2 million, which raised suspicion of sources of his wealth.
Among the main violations in Kharkov's Declaration:
-
The hidden land plot of 1000 square meters. m in Nikolaev, which belongs to his wife Anastasia Kharkovchenko.
-
The low cost of BMW i3 (2015) - instead of the real price 694 440 UAH, the declaration indicated UAH 5000.
-
The wife's income from the sale of the land (UAH 202 thousand) and the Toyota Venza car (UAH 149 thousand) is not declared.
-
Suspicious cash: Kharkovchenko declared $ 150,000, and his wife - another $ 47,000 and UAH 300,000, but the sources of these funds are doubt.
The total expenses of the couple for real estate and cars amounted to UAH 3.78 million, which is much higher than their official income.
Kharkovchenko tried to explain the origin of the funds, stating that he received a gift from his mother (Kharkovchenko LM) in November 2021. However, NAPC found a suspicious part:
-
The official had no business or stable income. For 2021-2023 it received only 950 UAH of social assistance.
-
She allegedly borrowed funds from a citizen of Budnik YV, but the reality of this agreement under a big question.
-
After receiving the "gift" Kharkovchenko did not buy any property that contradicts the logic of such agreements.
According to official data:
-
Yuri Kharkovchenko's total income for 1998-2022-only UAH 2 million.
-
His wife's income is 458 thousand hryvnias.
At the same time, the family declared UAH 7.5 million in cash, and also spent UAH 2.8 million per house, 928 thousand UAH per land plots and almost 700 thousand UAH per car.
It is obvious that the official income for such expenses is not enough, which indicates poor sources of income.
The actions of Kharkovchenko fall under Part 2 of Art. 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (declaration of false information). He faces imprisonment for up to two years with deprivation of the right to occupy public office.
Will he be able to avoid responsibility will become known after further investigations in law enforcement.
