Ukraine continues to modernize its system of mobilization and military training, introducing new electronic tools for conscript citizens. One of the key steps in this direction is the launch of an electronic office that will allow conscripts to update their data at the Technical Vehicle Control Center (TCC) online.
In the summer, the electronic office of conscripts should start working in Ukraine. About whether men are obliged to register there and whether summonses will come there.
Is it necessary to register an e-cabinet?
At the moment, the registration of the electronic cabinet of a conscript is voluntary. However, the Ministry of Defense plans to create an office for everyone, regardless of whether they use the service or not.
The goal is to simplify the procedure for updating data in the TCC. The new law on strengthening mobilization obliges Ukrainians who are on the military register to update their information within 60 days.
What functions will the e-cabinet have?
The electronic office of a conscript will be a separate service. It will be possible to access it from any device and provide information about yourself online. It will also be possible to check what information about a person is already in the "Oberig" register.
It is planned that authorization will be possible through BankID or "Action.Signature". The service will immediately pull up the full name, place of registration, date of birth, marital status, information about family members and education, etc. It was reported that conscripts will be able to confirm reservations from mobilization through the electronic cabinet.
Will summonses be served through the e-cabinet?
Sending online summonses was proposed by the draft law on strengthening mobilization, but it did not find support in the parliament and was rejected. Currently, the legislation does not provide for electronic summons and responsibility for ignoring them, they will not be sent through the service.
