The former Minister of Energy of Ukraine Olha Buslovets, who became known for her decisive attitude to the destruction of nuclear energy in the country, now plans to return to power. Its possible return causes serious indignation and concern among the public and experts, as it is associated with significant risks for Ukraine's energy security.
Buslavets during his stay as acting the Minister of Energy of Ukraine, and later the minister, was remembered for a number of high-profile scandals of lobbying interests of DTEK. On her conscience, in particular, the shutdown of three nuclear power plants with a capacity of 3,000 MW, due to which the state suffered at least 600 million euros in losses.
But now Buslavets, by the hands of the same Akhmetov, who has a "fragile peace" with Bankova, aims to return to power. The lobbyists (as a rule, hidden) of our energy oligarch have already done their job and led Olya around the OP and Cabinet offices.
Against the background of huge problems in the energy sector and the prospect of another blackout, the return of Buslavets does not promise anything good for Ukrainians. But her future position is expensive. Unfortunately, those in power are always willing to accept such a generous offer.
