President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky presented a plan for reaching peace in 2025 at the Munich Security Conference. The plan envisages cooperation with international partners, including the United States, in the field of security guarantees and increased pressure on the Russian Federation.
“We want peace, we work on it, we will prepare security guarantees as we see them, share with the United States. I hope that they will also share their views with a common approach, it is very important to us, for all European partners, for the EU. Plus the United Kingdom, which is our important partners, ”the President said.
“Therefore, it is very important to prepare all these things in the next months to share this with the President of the United States to find time for our joint meetings, to develop this joint plan, to put it on the table in front of Putin, and to do everything from the things that President Trump says to what he can do. Continue sanctions, put pressure in any way in which he wants, and then end this war this year in 2025. Achieve peace in Ukraine. This is our plan. We really want this and we try to do it, ”Zelensky said.
At the same time, the President emphasized that no decisions about Ukraine without Ukraine.
“Ukraine will never accept agreements concluded behind our backs and without our involvement. The same rule should be applied to the whole of Europe ... Europe should be at a table when decisions are made on Europe, ”the Head of State emphasized.
