In 2023, Shepetin's wife suddenly purchased three non -residential premises in Vyshgorod with a total area of almost 300 square meters worth more than UAH 2 million. At the same time in the declaration Shepetin indicates only social assistance of 25 thousand UAH from the Obukhov Regional State Administration.

The most disturbing is Igor Shepetin's past in tax. In 2017, his name appeared in the case of GPU No. 42017100000001297 - on covering a large -scale tax evasion scheme. According to the investigation, the DFS management, including Shepetin, "crumble" fictitious companies that created an artificial tax credit through grain export and cash transactions.
