Lands belonging to the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine become platforms for illegal construction. KSM-Group, associated with an odious developer Sergei Kopistyra, erects multi-storey residential complexes in territories that should be used for scientific needs. One of these projects is the LCD "Crystal sources", where, as journalists found, even President of the NAS Anatoly Zagorodni has an apartment.
Scandalous LCD and its influential residents
The Crystal Source Residential Complex is located in the picturesque part of Kiev between the Park Complex "Feofania" and the forest. However, its construction takes place without the necessary permits of the State Inspectorate of Architecture and Urban Planning, which has already attracted the attention of law enforcement.
Investigators suggest that the leadership of the NAS of Ukraine may be interested in changing the purpose of land. In exchange for the assistance of high -ranking officials, they probably receive apartments in new buildings.
A declaration that does not converge
In the State Register in the name of President of NAS Anatoly Zagorodny, an apartment of 86 square meters in the LCD “Crystal sources” is registered. The estimated cost of such housing is from UAH 3 million. However, in his declaration, he indicated another apartment - 67 square meters, which was purchased for only 17 thousand hryvnias.
In addition, one of the directors of the state motor transport enterprise of the NAS, on the lands of which is being conducted, owns a whole cottage, and several other heads of the Academy received elite apartments at low prices.
What does the NAS's management say?
At the request of the journalists, the President of the NAS initially avoided answers, and later stated that he would make an official request for the situation. However, he did not answer the question of the apartment at the Crystal Springs LCD.
This is not the first time when academic lands are given to construction. A scandal has recently erupted around the Grishko National Botanical Garden, whose part of the territories, despite the ban, were also submitted for housing. And again in the spotlight-KSM-Group.
Who and how it uses the lands of science in its own interests is a question that remains open.
