Ukrainian singer and producer of the "Music Platform" Gennady Viter, who is Nastya Kamensky's godfather, frankly spoke about his attitude towards the artist during the war and her activities abroad.
According to Vitr, the last contact with Kamensky was in May, when he congratulated her on her birthday. The producer noted that the singer had distanced herself from the Ukrainian information space due to life abroad and the influence of her environment, which has "different opinions."
Vitr was particularly outraged by an incident in the US when Kamensky spoke to the public in Russian and made a statement about "what a difference." Gennady stressed that although the artist can sing any songs, she should communicate with the audience exclusively in Ukrainian, especially in wartime, because it is a marker of identification as a Ukrainian.
Despite the criticism, Viter emphasized that he will continue to support Kamensky on a personal level, but is not ready to invite her to the "Music Platform" at the moment. According to him, the singer's activities abroad have significantly declined after 2022: earnings and part of the audience have decreased, and large investments in the Latin American direction have become impossible. However, Kamensky regularly comes to Ukraine - up to six times a year, in particular to participate in charity events.
